Challenge

LifeStance Health needed to dramatically expand their organic search presence across hundreds of local markets and mental health service areas. Existing content was thin, and competitors were outranking them on high-intent keywords for therapy, psychiatry, and mental health services.

Approach

We started with local SEO in 2021, building location-specific authority across their markets. In 2022, we expanded into a broader SEO strategy. By 2023, we launched a 7-month content development program: 24 new service pages, 7 category pages, and 100 blog posts — all medically-informed content targeting high-intent search terms their patients were using.
